Below is a tentative list of hunts, trips and other key items currently intended for auction (live or silent) at the 2009 QDMA National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky on July 23-26, 2009. Most items will be sold during either the hunt auction luncheon on July 24th or the Grand Banquet and Auction on the evening of July 25th. 2010 Kentucky Conservation Bull Elk Tag
One lucky hunter will enjoy a unique and unforgettable opportunity to hunt wild elk in Kentucky with a special Kentucky elk tag – one of only 10 awarded annually throughout the state to conservation organizations. This hard-to-get tag will enable one hunter to harvest one bull elk (or cow) during the 2010 Kentucky elk season. Hunter may hunt elk with authorized weapons during the special elk seasons. Through land acquisition agreements, the KDFWR has secured ample lands available for elk hunting. Historically, harvest success on mature bulls has been extremely high. Colorado Trophy Bull Elk Hunt for One Hunter with Lone Star Outfitters
If you have ever dreamed of harvesting a trophy bull elk, this is your chance! This 5-day, 5-night, fully-guided hunt with Lone Star Outfitters in southern Colorado boasts nearly 100% success, with most bulls scoring 300 B&C or larger. The free-range hunt will take place on an intensively managed private ranch in Unit 851 that is surrounded by over 1 million acres of additional private land. Hunter may harvest one trophy bull with weapon of choice (rifle or bow). Hunt to take place during the fall of 2009 or 2010 (exact dates TBD with outfitter).
